My “Trophy Bucks”

As we get closer to spring and warm weather, I am gearing up for next season. Now is a great time to plan some bow hunting goals for the new season. And one way to set new hunting goals is to reflect on past accomplishments.

Today, I wanted to share a few pictures of my whitetail bucks. These all come from Pennsylvania and Maryland. And each represents hours spent in the woods.

To me, each hunt was a special occasion, full of memories. That is the part of hunting people don’t talk about – how there is so much more to the sport than just sitting in the woods.

Each one of these White Tail Bucks has a story behind it… As we speak I have another one at the taxidermist. (Yes my wife is aware of this, is she happy???).

These are photos of white tail deer on my basement walls. My wife won’t let me put them in the living room.

No matter how big the whitetail deer you shoot with your bow is, each trophy represents an accomplishment few will ever know. You worked hard for it. So if you are proud of it, go ahead and have it mounted.
Happy Hunting,
Paul

My Lastest Buck

This is my latest buck. This was an 8 point buck weighing 170lbs.

Great hunting day! For me, this is trophy whitetail deer hunting at it’s finest. It took me roughly 2 .5 hours total time to field dress, drag through creek and out of woods.
I used a deer cart to get to my vehicle which was at the end of an open field. (All equipment I use will be discussed in a later article).
Happy Hunting!
