Another Exciting Whitetail Hunt
Saturday morning, I was not even settled into my tree stand, when I looked down, heard a stick crack and saw a large rack buck, at least an eight or ten point standing in front of me in the darkness.
I tried to get an arrow on my bow and find my release in my bag, through this madness, the buck knew something was up an took off.
As the morning went on, I saw five more different bucks just walking around looking for does.
I rattled and grunted a few times which seems to be working to my advantage. I also had a small amount of buck lure hanging from a tree about 35 yards out.
Did not harvest a deer today, but what a day in the woods!
